We run three Halloween discos, one after the other, in the school hall and during an evening close to 31st October. There are games, snacks, and prizes as well as lots of dancing and a fancy dress parade. 

Our discos are a great opportunity for the children to have fun with their school friends and some of the school staff. 

One of our most popular events of the year for children, staff and parents alike, is our Christmas Shop. Throughout the year, Friends buy hundreds of gifts for all ages and genders, worth at least £4. We then wrap them all up and on Christmas Shop day (usually in the first week of December) the children are able to browse the gifts and choose something for a list of relatives that parents have provided, and prepaid at £4 per gift. The children then take home their gifts ready-wrapped, and have a lovely surprise present to give their relatives on Christmas Day.

This is our flagship event of the year, and always our biggest fundraiser. Usually held on the second or third Saturday in May, the school grounds are transformed into rows of stalls, games, food stations, tombolas and raffles with face painting and a bbq as standard. There is a job to suit everyone, whatever time you have to spare – whether it’s to prepare for the day, help run a stall for an hour or more, or pitch in with the clear up. It’s one of the most memorable days of the school year, and one the children remember for many years.
